back and forth

So in order to keep this blog alive after some hibernating, I decided to post an event I attended lately, as I usually did. It was last Friday at Goethe Haus, a jazz performance of Henning Sieverts Quartet. The interesting thing about it is that they played music which base on an interpretation of paintings. Which at first really reminds me of my architectural communication class back there when I was in college, where we, on contrary, tried to interpret a song and turned it into some graphics.

It was interesting, the art process that happened there.

And, as usual, it was annoying to be around with bad manner audiences. I always wonder whether they were here for the show, to enjoy the show, or to take pictures (and annoys others with the clicks and the flash!), or texting and browsing with their bloodyberry (and annoys other with their LCD lights here and there).

ps. changed my right side widget for flickr & twitter with my sketch.

UPDATE It also reminds me of my photography class (also at college), where we interpreted a song into a concept of a photo. I remember when I imagined one jazzy tune as a girl who is waiting for her date, my friend was thinking of a girl sleeping cos jazz is so sleepy for her.
