With all the negative reviews I read before the movie was even released here, I have prepared myself to be disappointed. To my surprise, I actually enjoyed the whole movie. I do agree with some of the critics, it has a dead flat plot and it's the picturesque scenes that saved. But for me the cultural ambience portrayed is so entertaining I sort of left the whole storyline thing since I don't know when. The inevitable Italia, the colourful India, and the close to heart Indonesia (Bali, in particular, of course).
Moral of the whole movie for me personally is the jokes Liz told the moment she arrived in Italy about someone who beg to a saint (?) everyday to please please please let him win the lottery. And the saint (?) answered by telling him to please please please buy a ticket.
Oh, and the whole different accents was entertaining.
