Another jazz event on Friday night entertained by David Manuhutu quartet and the Groens Projects. Getting too distracted and way too sleepy for the first half but was enjoying the second half performance by this snobbish looking quartet of a yakuza, a triad, a monk, and an Italian with a slightly undersized double bass who seriously looks like Jovanotti.
What I always like about being in this kind of event is that I could just drown myself in the music and for just a while completely forgetting everything that is happening in life. Even if it's just for three hours it did help. And now I'm needing more.
