Benvenuti al Sud (Welcome to the South) is a movie portraying the stereotypes of Southern Italy from the perspective of the Northern, while the sequel Benvenuti al Nord is the other way around. Since I haven't been to the south I can relate more to the latter. Watching these movies gave me a kind of mixed feeling. Like I was perplexed, about the whole thing me being here in Italia. The north one was shot in Milan. I've been to Milan. Watching it I was like, hey I've walked that road, but oh wait, did I really? I mean up until this second, all this still felt surreal to me. Being here or not being here. I haven't get it. And whatever I've been searching for from this whole journey, I haven't found it, yet.
