We failed miserably in Firenze. What I experienced here was the exact opposite with what happened in Assisi. I heard too many people saying that Firenze was their favorite city in Italy. I heard too many praises and it raised my expectation high. It is the greatest and richest historical Renaissance city yet with all regrets I failed to grab the essence.
