Like Nanni Moretti, the writer, director, and actor of the 1993 Italian movie, Caro Diario (Dear Diary), I like looking at houses, even before I started studying architecture. When I look at certain houses I like to imagine how life is going on in there.
I first heard the name Nanni Moretti five years ago, but I only got interested couple of days ago when i saw this movie was on some lists of 10 best italian movies or some sort and I read somewhere people saying that he is the italian version of Woody Allen. It might be too much though comparing someone with the ever great Woody, but I have to say that I enjoyed this film so much, maybe in the same way I enjoy Woody's. It's witty, it's awkward, with clever lines I could relate to here and there. Within the first few minutes I knew I liked this guy already. I enjoyed it that much I've watched the first part three times! And most likely I would also re-watch the other two parts again.
