First I read the book (and of course impressed with the painting-style cover with the UV spot). Then I got impressed with the movie's stop-motion graphics. Big applaus for the opening credit which looks so real.. This is actually the longest stop-motion movie ever made, and the first to be shot entirely in 3D. To construct 1 puppet of Coraline, 10 individuals had to work 3-4 months. Wow! I definitely love all things related to the graphics, the set and everything. You can check the website, which is also cool.

For you who loves Nightmare Before Christmas or Corpse Bride, I think you'll like this one.
p.s Knowing that The Graveyard Book is also by the same author, now I really got exited about that one.
