It's not that we only saw birds but they're the ones that were close enough for my lens and were pleasing to my eyes. But seriously we didn't get to see the hippopotamus! Even after a super exhausting and creepy walk round and round the zoo because we got lost and couldn't find the way out when it's getting dark and the gate was about to be closed.
