I was so excited when a friend in Germany said she's sending me a postcard until it's finally arrived! Well I never know her personally and I don't know how she first came across my blog, for thing like this you just gotta thank the internet, huh? But these days receiving a postal snail mail with a personal handwriting is something you have to give more appreciation, isn't it? And you know what fascinates me most? Those stamps! I don't know when was the last time I actually saw one but it kinda makes me wishing I had collected stamps.
The postcard is a polaroid photograph, Untitled (Headstand), from 1973 by Robert Mapplethorpe she bought at this exhibition.
Danke schön!
