salzburg, såizburg.

i was in central europe for a winter end of the year trip. the whole trip was kinda blurry to me because of all the drama caused by my fuckin' traveling partner. blurry in the sense that i don't remember much remarks of each city, and every time i tried to recollect my memories about a place, i'd always be in doubt whether it was in this city or that city. like i lost the sense of each place.

salzburg was the first city we visited and was probably the city that left the least remark on me. we didn't plan to visit salzburg but since we couldn't find any other better route to reach our main destination, we boarded a last minute bus. a bus full of italian rascals who couldn't shut their mouth off for even just one second. literally the worst bus trip i have ever had in europe.

we arrived in salzburg early in the morning, or midnight, i don't remember which hour, but since it was winter, the sun hasn't yet risen. i really don't have much recollection of the city, except for a hot tea in a mcdonald's cause it's the only thing that was open, then having coffee in from a machine in a parking lot trying to warm ourselves from the cold, the cool bus stops they have (last photo), the installation by marina abramovic (5th photo). and that's pretty much it. sounds of music, well okay.. the city of mozart, okay.. but they don't really mean something to me. i don't even remember how we got out of the city to vienna, our next destination.

it might sounds really negative here, but salzburg was actually a lovely city, i swear. maybe i should revisit it one day, to really get the essence of the city, tho to be honest i'm not really that eager to..
