it gets boring mentioning all these central european cities i visited as "beautiful". like, ya okay, they're typical old european cities, so it's acceptable for them to be beautiful. but when it comes to prague, i really mean it.
we arrived in prague very early in the morning just right after the sun rose, and the first thing we could ever think about, after we waited for quite a while to get the keys to our apartment, was to rush to the charles bridge before it got crowded with the flock of tourists. i think it's not exaggerated if i say it's the most beautiful bridge i've ever seen so far. i mean it's not just about the bridge but what surrounds it and what lays on the edge of both ends. the touch of gothic architecture will never fail to amaze.
and although my trip ended in prague, and it ended in a tragedy, which i am now very thankful that it happened, i don't have any negative perception left of prague. and among all other cities, i would definitely revisit prague one day. and actually i would want to redo all this trip again one day maybe, also in the winter, to make better memories, to perceive the cities way better than i did, without any drama, with a totally different sense of melancholy.
