i've always been obsessed with maps, any kind of maps. so reading this is kind of fascinating. not finding the suitable model of globe to gift his father, mr. bellerby decided to make his own. the journey of his research and globe-making down to such detail and perfection is very much impressive. now his globes are made in a small studio, all handcrafted. seeing all the behind the scene, it really looks like dream job to me, working with hands with all its attributes; maps, watercolors, seeking for perfection, in such cozy small studio environment.
