lasciami una luce accesa

Posso aiutarti / Manca l’aria qui in città / Sento i tuoi sguardi
Ma il mio sorriso dove sta? Dove sta?

giving up

from the top of the mountain every morning i walk towards the edge and throw little things off / i listen to the sounds they make on their way down / i follow with my eyes 'til they crash / imagine what my body would sound like slamming against those rocks

i go through all this before you wake up / so i can feel happier to be safe up here with you

Björk - Hyperballad

I'm tired of pretending. I guess on my daily basis I am surrounded with "normal" people with "normal" way of thinking and "normal" acceptable behavior, I start to alienate my existence.

Björk. I never really pay attention to Björk since I always thought that she's too twisted. Björk is too twisted I think everyone listening to her songs must also be twisted in a way. But I'm not going to talk it further, I'm going to rant specifically about Hyperballad.

vegas

Gonna quit my job and move to New York
'Cause somebody told me that's where dreamers should go

Gonna sell my house and cross the border
'Cause somebody told me dreams live in Mexico

I'm gonna lose my mind and sail the ocean.
'Cause somebody told me there were cherry blue skies

I'm gonna fix my mind with a final destination
And have a deep sleep upon a sweet dream
I'll never realize...no

pixel art + the 8bit magic

You know, I've been adooooring pixel art since I knew about it. And, just in case you haven't know about this band, YMCK, who combined pixel art with an 8bit sound of music. You know, like the kinda music you heard on the oldies video games like Game Boy. You really should give it a try. Here's one.

whitest boy alive

Been loving the songs of Kings of Convinience and Röyksopp, not knowing that Erlend Øye from Kings of Convinience is actually featured as the vocal on my favorite song of Röyksopp, Remind Me. This time I'm trying another of his project, The Whitest Boy Alive. Check out their website, I heart it very much. Love the sketchy style.

black and white life

It's just like a cigarette, it's something that I do. Once in a while but between me and you. It's just like a cigarette, nobody's really fooled. I don't want the truth, I wanna feel freakin' cool. ~Fort Minor

Smoking images. Don't judge me.

slowing down

Such a rush, to do nothin at all
Such a fuss, to get nowhere at all

Look at all the people, going after money
Far too many people, looking for their money

Everybody's out there, trying to get money

Such a rush

They all rush

Such a rush..

her morning elegance

Okay, finally I do a video posting. I know it has been posted in many blogs, but I couldn't help it cos I just lovee this. First saw it I thought it's a commercial or something, because my office computer's audio device is currently not working. Well, it's a music video anyway. By Oren Lavie. The video, the music, the lyrics, love it.

And she fights for her life..

mighty love

Currently I'm listening to this song. Over and over and over again. Don't know why. I just watched an interview with the vocalist and hmm.. as men usually found girls physically attractive, somehow I found this guy very attractive because of his absurd melancholic personality and somehow makes genius people seem lovely.

life's weird

I just don't know how not to forget..

going to drury lane

I'm uploading the Muffin Man by Ella Fitzgerald but had some trouble. That one has the bridge which sounds: "He never in a hurry, never has a worry.. Bringing joy to everyone.. Then he knows his work is done." :)

Oh, and btw I got the muffin image here, and altough I'm not so into cooking but she sure does have niceeee pictures...

back to the start

Nobody said it was easy. No one ever said it would be this hard. Take me back to the start.

x'mas everyday

This version has always been my favorite song in every season, not just in Christmas.
Make me calm somehow..
